Armenian president attends opening of new clothing manufacture in Amasia village

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan traveled to Shirak province on Thursday to attend the ceremony of the opening of a new clothing manufacture in Amasia village, the president’s press office reports.
YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan traveled to Shirak province on Thursday to attend the ceremony of the opening of a new clothing manufacture in Amasia village, the president’s press office reports.
The president wads told that the manufacture would employ 150 people at the initial stage, and other 150 jobs would be created later this year.
The groundwork for establishment of the new manufacture was laid in 2009 in cooperation with Revival of Amasia Foundation and Armenian-German WKS Armenia LTD.
A new building will be built under a $2-million program. The program is planned to be completed in 2013.
The program coordinators assured the president that development of Amasia’s infrastructures would be completed by early 2014. In particular, a new park, a new residential settlement and a movie theater will be opened in Amasia. Over 500 new jobs will be created here thanks to this.
President Sargsyan also visited Bandivan village as part of his tour. He talked to its residents about their problems. The village residents said that all their problems have already been solved after the president’s previous visit to Bandivan.-0---
