President Sargsyan opens first exhibition of world association of Armenian jewellers

President Serzh Sargsyan opened today the Yerevan Show, the first exhibition of the World Association of Armenian Jewellers (AJA, devoted to 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence.
YEREVAN, September 21. / ARKA /. President Serzh Sargsyan opened today the Yerevan Show, the first exhibition of the World Association of Armenian Jewellers (AJA, devoted to 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence. Accompanied by the First Lady, Rita Sargsyan, Diaspora minister Hranush Hakobian and head of the Armenian Church, Catholicos Karekin II, president Sargsyan made as tour of the exposition.
"Our goal was to organize this exhibition not only for business people but also as a gift on the 20th anniversary of independence of our country," Gagik Gevorkyan, president of the Association, told reporters.
He thanked the government and the president for their help in organizing the event. The Yerevan Show will run through 23rd of September. The exhibition has brought to Yerevan Armenian jewellers from U.S., Canada, Switzerland, Russia, France, Italy, Thailand and Lebanon. It features the products of Aesthete, Moog, Herzo, Zohrab, Haytayan, Bergio, Tacori, Waskol, Yessayan Jewellery and other renowned companies. The exhibition will host also a conference entitled "The Role of AJA in the integration of the jewellery industry of Armenia into international jewellery community." -0-
