Armenia’s industrial output in 2011 August saw a 12.5% rise from a year before to 84.2 billion drams in current prices, the National Statistical Service said today. It said the output was also 7.8% higher from 2011 July.
YEREVAN, October 3. / ARKA /. Armenia’s industrial output in 2011 August saw a 12.5% rise from a year before to 84.2 billion drams in current prices, the National Statistical Service said today. It said the output was also 7.8% higher from 2011 July.
The mining output in 2011 August was said to have grown by 15.4% year-on-year to 15 billion drams; the processing industry posted a 9.5% rise from a year before to 54.3 billion drams; production and distribution of electrical power, gas, steam and purified air jumped by 23.8% to 13.3 billion dramsж water supplies and waste water removal, as well as waste recycling grew by 9.1% to over 1.6 drams.
