Board of directors of SCR approved new organizational structure of the company

YEREVAN, October 14. /ARKA/. Board of Directors of South-Caucasus Railways cjsc (SCR) approved new organizational structure of the company, informs press-service of SCR.

“Such a decision was approved taking into account SCR strategy and mission, and is conditioned by the necessity of optimization of internal structure, increase of efficiency of activity and quality of provided services”, says the press-release.

Reformation of the structure of the company will bring to the increase of passenger and cargo transportation volumes and become an original basis for the re-engineering of SCR.

In accordance with the decision of SCR Board of Directors a new service of staff management and communications was established which combines the services of personnel management and social development, public relations and business manager. Artush Danielyan is appointed the head of this department who earlier was the head of personnel management department.

Vladimir Yakovlev is appointed Advisor to General Director who was earlier the head of business management department.

Ex-Advisor to General Director Karen Antonyan is appointed acting head of the new department of
inter-corporate services which includes the Service of Property, Service of Rolling-stock and Service of International Relations and cooperation with administrative bodies.

The head of the newly created Yerevan wagon-locomotive depot is appointed the former head of Yerevan wagon-repair depot Hakob Vahanyan.

CJSC “South-Caucasus Railway” is a 100% subsidiary of OJSC “Russian Railways” implementing concession management of CJSC “Armenian Railways” according to the Concession Agreement signed on February 13, 2008.
