Armenia’s foreign trade in 2011 September grew by 26.7% from a year before to $525.3 million, or 195.4 billion drams, the National Statistical Service told ARKA.
YEREVAN, October 20. / ARKA /. Armenia’s foreign trade in 2011 September grew by 26.7% from a year before to $525.3 million, or 195.4 billion drams, the National Statistical Service told ARKA. According to the agency’s updated data, in September it grew by 1.9% from August.
The volume of exports in September this year amounted to $142.9 million (53.2 billion drams), an increase of 48.4% over the same period in 2010, and imports grew to $382.4 million (142.2 billion AMD), an increase of 20.1%. As a result, the negative trade balance in September 2011 was $239.5 million (89 billion drams).
At the same time in September compared to August exports grew by 21.8% and imports declined by 4%.
The average exchange rate of dram against U.S. Dollar in September this year was 372.28 drams. -0-
The volume of exports in September this year amounted to $142.9 million (53.2 billion drams), an increase of 48.4% over the same period in 2010, and imports grew to $382.4 million (142.2 billion AMD), an increase of 20.1%. As a result, the negative trade balance in September 2011 was $239.5 million (89 billion drams).
At the same time in September compared to August exports grew by 21.8% and imports declined by 4%.
