Over 256 million drams allocated for the recovery of shore protection facilities in the regions of Armenia

Government of Armenia adopted a decision on Thursday to allocate funds in the amount of 256 million drams to the Armenian Agriculture Ministry for the recovery of shore protection facilities in the regions of Armenia.
YEREVAN, November 10. /ARKA/. Government of Armenia adopted a decision on Thursday to allocate funds in the amount of 256 million drams to the Armenian Agriculture Ministry for the recovery of shore protection facilities in the regions of Armenia.
During the government meeting Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said that recovery works will be conducted along the bank of the river Araks in the territory of the village Janfida in Armavir region and in the emergency sections in Syunik region.
Protection facilities will be built also along the bank of the river Martuni in Gegharkunik region of Armenia. Recovery works of straightening of the river Aghstev will be conducted in the territory of the community Achajur in Tavush region.
The given activities will be finished by spring flooding in 2012. --0--
