Armenia was the only CIS country that faced year-on-year decline in freight traffic in Jan-Oct 2011, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.
YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. Armenia was the only CIS country that faced year-on-year decline in freight traffic in Jan-Oct 2011, the Statistical Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States reports.
Freight traffic in Armenia shrank 10.8% over the mentioned period, compared with the same period a year earlier as the Commonwealth enjoyed 11.4% average growth.
According to the statistical report, freight traffic in Kazakhstan grew 22.6%, in Moldova 21.1%, in Ukraine 9.5%, in Azerbaijan 7.6%, in Belarus 6.1%, in Kyrgyzstan 5.6%, in Russia 4.8% and in Tajikistan 3%.
