During 2007-2009, ArmRosgasprom plans to make investments for a total of AMD 52bln (about $150mln), Director General of ArmRosgasprom Karen Karapetyan reported Monday at the presentation of the first issue of the company’s coupon bonds.
YEREVAN, July 23. /ARKA/. During 2007-2009, ArmRosgasprom plans to make investments for a total of AMD 52bln (about $150mln), Director General of ArmRosgasprom Karen Karapetyan reported Monday at the presentation of the first issue of the company’s coupon bonds.
According to him, these funds will be allocated for reconstruction and provision of conditions for expanding the carrying capacity of the gas transport system. Karapetyan pointed out that implementation of these projects will allow ArmRosgasprom to be involved in gas-energy projects of regional importance, and it will increase reliability of gas supply due to an alternative source of gas supply.
“Over the last 4-5 years, the company’s investments totaled $100mln, $83mln being allocated for gas supply works,” he said.
Karapetyan reported that the company’s authorized capital stock totals AMD 196.9bln ($580mln), divided into 39.18mln of simple nominal shares. R.O. –0--
