Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s government intends to increase minimal wage from present AMD 20,000 to 25,000 in 2008, Katabakhi Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan said Tuesday.
STEPANAKERT, October 3. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic’s government intends to increase minimal wage from present AMD 20,000 to 25,000 in 2008, Katabakhi Prime Minister Araik Harutyunyan said Tuesday.
He said teachers’ salaries will grow 19.4% to AMD 85.1thnd. Administrative personnel’s salary will be 1.5 times greater than that of teachers. It will rise to AMD 127,000.
In his words, the government will find resources soon for providing secondary schools’ attendees with free manuals and to drive the basic salary from present AMD 4,250 to 6,800 in 2008.
The premier also said that an average retirement benefit is planned to be increased 60% to AMD 23,000 and raise the lump-sum benefit for one child birth from present AMD 35,000 to AMD 70,000 as well as set a AMD 300-thousnad marriage benefit.-0--
