Gross agricultural production totaled AMD 532.9bln in January-October 2007 – 8.9% increase as compared to the corresponding period in 2006.

YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Gross agricultural production totaled AMD 532.9bln in January-October 2007 – 8.9% increase as compared to the corresponding period in 2006.

According to the RA National Statistical Service (NSS), animal produce totaled AMD 160.1bln (5% increase) in January-October 2007. Crop production increased by 10.6% to AMD 372.8bln in the period under review.

According to National Statistical Service, sales of meet of big and small cattle and poultry totaled AMD 93,600 tons in January-October 2007 - 6.7% increase as compared to the corresponding period in 2006.

Milk production increased by 2.5% to 599,400 tons in the reporting period. Egg products totaled 447.4mln eggs – 14.7% increase. –0--

More than 38 thousand trout fry released in Lake Sevan
