Armrosgasprom to set gas indicators in multistory buildings in Armenia

The ArmRosGasProm (ARG) CJSC plans to set gas indicators in multistory buildings to enhance gas consumption security and reduce anthropogenic accidents in Armenia, the company’s press service reports.

YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. The ArmRosGasProm (ARG) CJSC plans to set gas indicators in multistory buildings to enhance gas consumption security and reduce anthropogenic accidents in Armenia, the company’s press service reports.
For this purpose, ARG plans to put into operation quick-response devices. To meet technical regulation rules, the company proposes applying the system of domestic alarm indicators and emergency valves in Armenia.

To implement this project, ARG has turned to the RA Ministry of Urban Development and the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) for including the project in the company’s investment program, according to ARG press service.

The indicators with light and sound signalization work in case the natural gas explosion safety level is on the hazard threshold. In this case, the emergency valve switches off the gas supply. fter studying the world experience in the installation of gas safety mechanisms, ARG plans to implement gas safety systems in multistory buildings of Armenia.
For this purpose, the company has developed an investment program for attracting credit funds and has submitted the project for consideration.

ARG will announce bids on the delivery of gas indicators and emergency valves. According to the RA Rescue Service, three people died of a gas escape in Yerevan this week.

Monopolist in Armenia’s gas supply market, the ArmRosgasprom CJSC was established in 1997. The company’s capital amounts $580mln. Its shareholders are the Gasprom OJCS (57.59% of shares), the RA Ministry of Energy (34.7%) and the Itera Oil and Gas Company (7.71%). –0--
