European Commission will make every possible effort to support Armenian Government in its program implementation, Deputy Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for External Relations Hugues Mingarelli said in Yerevan on Thursday
YEREVAN, June 10. /ARKA/. European Commission will make every possible effort to support Armenian Government in its program implementation, Deputy Director-General of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for External Relations Hugues Mingarelli said in Yerevan on Thursday.
He said the new Armenian Government has worked out quite ambitious program, especially in economy sector – tax and customs areas will undergo reformation.
Mingarelli expressed hope that people will help the Government implement these important reforms.
On April 30, Armenian National Assembly approved the Government’s activity program for 2008 to 2012.
The program is worked out with taking into account Armenian national security strategy, poverty reduction program as well as election programs of the president and the ruling coalition parties - Republican Party of Armenia, Prosperous Armenia, Orinats Yerkir and Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun. --0—
