YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. A batch of 10,000 pieces of cut flowers of various types imported from Armenia was detained at the Sadakhlo-Saavtomobilo customs checkpoint, the Georgian Tax Service reports.

"During the border quarantine control procedures, non-compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of Georgia was revealed, in particular, damage by harmful insects was noted on the plants," the agency's website says. It is noted that in accordance with the decree of the Georgian government, the said products are subject to return to the country of origin.
