A national warehouse of products from Armenia is planned to be opened in the United States to support Armenian producers and their entry into the international market, said Mariam Manukyan, President of the International Business Relations Support Council.
YEREVAN, June 18. /ARKA/. A national warehouse of products from Armenia is planned to be opened in the United States to support Armenian producers and their entry into the international market, said Mariam Manukyan, President of International Business Relations Support Council
“Preparatory work is already underway, and by the end of this year the national warehouse will be opened. This will allow Armenian producers to store their products there and offer them to large suppliers and retail chains. This opportunity will significantly facilitate the activities of Armenian producers - they will gain both in time and financial terms, as well as by reducing paperwork,” Manukyan noted at a press conference, Armenpress reports.
In turn, Tigran Ghazaryan, Director of the International Business Relations Support Council, noted that the creation of a national warehouse is a recognized and successful model in international practice.
He noted that the Council is not limited to partnership with exclusively Armenian producers - it is open to cooperation with everyone.
"Any Armenian product can be presented - textiles, jewelry, drinks, confectionery, dried fruits, etc. Even if the business is just being formed or has been operating for a long time, but the production volumes are still small - you can still apply and participate. Both large and medium-sized enterprises, as well as small enterprises, can take advantage of the opportunities of the national warehouse," Ghazayan emphasized.
A conference will be held in Yerevan on July 3 to present to the business people the opportunities of the national warehouse program.-0-
