Two agricultural fairs will not operate in Yerevan on September 16 on the occasion of Exaltation of Life-giving Holy Cross, Agriculture Ministry reported Thursday.

YEREVAN, September 13./ARKA/. Two agricultural fairs will not operate in Yerevan on September 16 on the occasion of Exaltation of Life-giving Holy Cross, Agriculture Ministry reported Thursday.

The seasonal agricultural fairs are located in Arabkir district, Kasyan street square, Movses Khorenatsi street of Yerevan.

“Fairs will be open only on Saturday, September 15,” according to the source.

Ministry of Agriculture has been organizing such fairs since December of 2011 each weekend nearby Kasyan street in Yerevan.

From 21 August to 26 December over 7000 farms participated in 36 agricultural fairs presenting nearly 40 different production varieties, including vegetables, fruits, honey.

The agricultural fair is initiated by Armenia’s President and is held in support of VivaCell-MTS to make the agricultural production available for consumers.-0-
