The press office of Air Armenia refuted on Thursday the allegations about its possible bankruptcy.
YEREVAN, October 10. /ARKA/. The press office of Air Armenia refuted on Thursday the allegations about its possible bankruptcy.
The report also said the air company had no debts accumulated and lost none of its own aircraft because of debts.
Two of Air Armenia aircraft are currently undergoing technical maintenance in Hollande, according to the report.
“It is a mandatory maintenance procedure and is done as required by the agreements with the aircraft leasing company”, says the report.
The press office said the company has never hired an aircraft from any Dubai-based firm.
Air Armenia meets all the financial commitments in time, says the statement.
Local media disinformation creates panic among passengers, which, in turn, affects the carrying out of flights in a proper and timely manner, says the report.
Air Armenia apologizes to its passengers for the inconvenience and claims all the flights are carried out as scheduled.
Air Armenia is the only company at the local market of air transportation. Armenia’s previous national carrier Armavia went bankrupt in April 2013. –0--
