YEREVAN, January 28. /ARKA/. A total of 928,900 square meters of housing was commissioned in Armenia in January-November 2024, up 89% compared to the same time span of the previous year .

According to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) review, Armenia is ahead of other Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member countries in terms of growth.

According to the review, in Kazakhstan the growth amounted to 8.3% (16.3 million square meters of housing), in Kyrgyzstan – to 7.1% (1.1 million meters), in Russia -to 0.7% (93.8 million square meters), and in Belarus – to 0.4% (3.3 million square meters).

Across the EEU as a whole, the housing commissioning in the first 11 months of 2024 compared to the same period of 2023 increased by 2.1%, reaching 115.5 millionsquare meters.

The review also notes that in January-November 2024, Russia accounted for 81.2% of the total volume of housing commissioned in the EEU, Kazakhstan for 14.1%, Belarus for 2.9%, Kyrgyzstan for 1.0%, and Armenia for 0.8%.-0-
