Armenia was among the top ten most popular international destinations for business travelers from Russia in 2025, according to a study by Aeroclub, a company specializing in business travel.

According to Interfax, Armenia accounted for approximately 2% of all business travel flights from Russia. Compared to 2024, the volume of business travel to the country decreased by 21%, but the country remained among the top 10 most popular destinations.
China led the ranking in 2025, accounting for 18% of all business flights (compared to 16% the year before). Companies in the oil, gas, and energy sectors accounted for a significant portion of the demand for travel to China, accounting for 40% of the total. Kazakhstan took second place, despite a 16% decline in business trips amid a sharp decline in travel by IT and telecom companies.
Turkey retained third place, with demand falling by 21%. The top ten most popular foreign destinations for Russian business travel also included Uzbekistan, Belarus, the UAE, Serbia, Georgia, and India.
