Armenia Approves €15.6 Million Technical Cooperation Agreement with Germany

YEREVAN, October 30. /ARКА/. During a meeting held on Thursday, the Armenian government sanctioned a technical cooperation agreement with Germany.

The agreement encompasses support in several domains: development of the private sector and primary and secondary vocational education in Armenia (up to €6.1 million); sustainable energy initiatives for climate-resilient community development (up to €6.1 million); integrated development of Armenian communities (up to €3.1 million); and funding for Armenian research and specialists (up to €300,000).

The German government will supply human resources and non-financial services to facilitate the execution of these four programs, along with financial resources as needed, amounting to a total of €15.6 million.

The implementation of these programs has been entrusted to the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) by the German government.-0-
