Armenia expects the first shipment of Kazakh wheat transiting Azerbaijan, announced RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.
YEREVAN, October 21. /ARКА/. Armenia expects the first shipment of Kazakh wheat transiting Azerbaijan, announced RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan.
"The first shipment of Kazakh grain will soon arrive in Armenia via the Aktau-Baku route, then via the Azerbaijani and Georgian railways. Peace has been established," the minister wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, the President of Azerbaijan announced the lifting of all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia through its territory. Yerevan welcomed this announcement, which, according to the Armenian Prime Minister's press secretary, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, "is of great importance for opening regional communications, strengthening mutual trust, and institutionalizing the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan."
