YEREVAN, October 16. /ARKA/. One of the key processes of the agricultural season in Armenia—grape procurement—is nearing completion. To date, 192,000 tons of grapes have already been purchased, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced on Facebook.

The minister noted that approximately 160,000 tons of grapes were purchased during the same period last year, and 164,000 tons for the entire 2024.

"We are currently purchasing industrial grape varieties, totaling approximately 3,000 tons. In addition, small quantities of table grapes will be purchased," the minister added.
He predicts that the total purchase volume this year could reach 196,000–197,000 tons.
