Armenia is set to continue working in EAEU, but some issues raise concerns for Russia- deputy prime ministe

YEREVAN, July 24. /ARKA/. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk said that Armenia is set to continue working in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), adding that there are concerns over some issues.
"We are not talking here about Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's unwavering desire to join the EU. Of course, we are discussing issues of interaction within the EAEU. From this point of view, we pay attention to the decisions Armenia makes in the regulatory and legal spheres. There are some government acts that raise questions for us," said Overchuk.
According to him, this concerns food products certified in accordance with the standards of the European Union, the United States, and other countries that do not comply with Eurasian Economic Union certification standards.
"We, of course, express concern about such issues," Overchuk said.
