Armenia has officially joined the "NDC Action Now" declaration on climate change, presented by the Nationally Determined Contribution Partnership and co-chaired by Brazil and Denmark.
YEREVAN, November 19. /ARKA/. Armenia has officially joined the "NDC Action Now" declaration on climate change, presented by the Nationally Determined Contribution Partnership and co-chaired by Brazil and Denmark.
According to the press service of the RA Ministry of Environment, Armenia has thereby confirmed its commitment to joint, accelerated, and effective action to combat climate change.
By joining the declaration, Armenia underscores its readiness to promote climate policy implementation, support transparent, accountable, and data-driven actions, engage international partners for financing and technological support, develop local capacities, and stimulate low-carbon economic development.
The climate crisis requires coordinated and decisive action, and Armenia is ready to continue actively contributing to global efforts aimed at sustainable development and environmental conservation.
The Declaration calls on Member States and institutions to implement their Nationally Determined Actions (NDCs) more rapidly and comprehensively, strengthening global efforts to limit temperature rise and ensure a safe and sustainable future for people and nature.
