Armenia plans to introduce an electronic system for state registration of property rights
YEREVAN, October 22. /ARKA/. At its session on Wednesday, the National Assembly of Armenia adopted in the first reading a bill amending and supplementing the Law "On State Registration of Property Rights."

As stated by Nane Ghazaryan, Deputy Head of the RA Cadastre Committee, the bill proposes to amend the law accordingly and provide individuals and citizens of the RA with the opportunity to enter into contracts without visiting the Committee's service office. This will be done through the "Personal Account" section of the electronic system on the Committee's official website, with confirmation via an electronic digital signature.

Thus, individuals located outside of Armenia will also be able to exercise their right to enter into transactions without undergoing additional procedures.

According to Ghazaryan, this refers to the introduction of an electronic method for concluding contracts that are currently not subject to mandatory notarization. She added that citizens with an electronic signature will be able to enter into such agreements electronically—in a digital environment.

The bill details the requirements for agreements certified with an electronic digital signature in the "Personal Account" section of the electronic system on the committee's official website, which users can access through the national identification platform "It is me."

The bill also provides for regulation of the procedure for the automatic state registration of rights arising from these agreements.-0-
