Armenia posts highest industrial output growth rate in EEU - EEC review

YEREVAN, January 28. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in January-November 2024, amounted to over AMD 548.2 billion, reflecting 7.6% growth compared to the same time span in 2023, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEX), the executive arm of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), said in an analytical review.

It said Armenia is ahead of other EEU member countries in terms of industrial production growth rate. According to the review, the growth in Belarus amounted to 5.5% (4,451.7 billion Belarusian rubles), in Kyrgyzstan – to 4.8% (120,321.2 billion soms), in Russia to 4.3% (126,338.6 billion rubles), and in Kazakhstan to 2.7% (632,608.7 billion tenge).

Armenia is ahead only of Russia in terms of growth rate of completed construction work, which was 2.7%. The construction amounted to 70.7 billion AMD, while the growth in the Russian Federation was 2.0% (16.3 trillion rubles). In Kyrgyzstan, this indicator increased by 29.8% (81,676.8 billion soms), in Kazakhstan by 10.3% (15,532.3 billion tenge), and in Belarus by 8.0% (574.8 billion Belarusian rubles).
