Armenia's foreign trade turnover in January-March decreased by 54.2%, to $4.5 billion.

According to operational statistics, the volume of foreign trade turnover in Armenia in January-March 2025 amounted to $4,480.1 million, which is 54.2% lower than the figure for January-March 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.

YEREVAN, April 25. /ARKA/. According to operational statistics, the volume of foreign trade turnover in Armenia in January-March 2025 amounted to $4,480.1 million, which is 54.2% lower than the figure for January-March 2024, the National Statistical Committee reports.

At the same time, in March of this year, compared to March last year, this figure decreased by 31.8%, and compared to February of the same year, it increased by 21.4%.

For the first quarter of 2025, the volume of foreign trade turnover in dram equivalent amounted to 1,771.6 billion drams.

Exports from Armenia in January-March 2025 decreased by 61.8% compared to the same period in 2024, amounting to $1,699.8 million. In March, compared to March last year, a decline of 65.4% was recorded, and compared to February this year, there was an increase of 20.2%. In dram equivalent, exports in the reporting period amounted to 672.0 billion drams.

Imports for the first quarter amounted to $2,780.3 million, recording a decline of 47.9% compared to the same period in 2024. In March, imports for the year decreased by 51.2%, and for the month - increased by 22.1%. In dram equivalent, imports for 3 months amounted to 1,099.6 billion drams. ($1 - 389.56 drams). -0-
