Armenia's industrial potential has considerable development prospects in EEU - Pashinyan
YEREVAN, 13 December. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial potential, including jewellery and pharmaceutical industries, as well as agro-processing, has considerable development prospects in cooperation with partner states from the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Moscow today.
According to him, Armenia is highlighting the possibilities of provided by the financial support mechanism for co-operation projects. He said this is being done for enterprises in Armenia to participate in them.
‘The key moment was the launch of the mechanism of financial assistance to co-operation projects. This is a significant step to increase the competitiveness of the industry of our states and with the right approach it can contribute to the creation of high-tech industries and expansion of industrial cooperation,’ Pashinyan said.
The Armenian prime minister also said that for the effective implementation of the financial assistance mechanism, Armenia supports proposals calling for expansion of the list of international financial organisations and optimizing the terms of consideration of applications.
‘This will open additional opportunities and speed up the process of implementation of joint initiatives,’ Pashinyan noted. -0-
