Armenia offered to use Rosatom's digital environmental monitoring technologies

The development of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the fields of ecology, nature management, and digital environmental monitoring were discussed at a meeting between RA Minister of Environment Ambartsum Matevosyan and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.

The development of cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the fields of ecology, nature management, and digital environmental monitoring were discussed at a meeting between Minister of Environment Ambartsum Matevosyan and Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.
Particular attention was paid to proposals from the Rosatom State Corporation to create integrated environmental monitoring systems for water bodies and atmospheric air, as well as the potential for using Russian technologies in waste management and digitalizing environmental control, the Russian Trade Mission in Armenia reported.
Russian Trade Representative in Armenia Sergey Solomin expressed readiness to assist the Armenian side in attracting leading Russian companies to participate in tenders and projects aimed at achieving sustainable development goals in Armenia.
The discussion was also attended by Alexey Ordin, Digital Attaché of the Trade Mission, and Anastasia Ivanova, representative of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.-0-
