Armenia and Belarus to exchange food security experience

As part of his visit to Belarus, Artur Baghdasaryan, secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council had a meeting with Belarus agriculture and food minister Mikhail Rusykh and discussed a set of issues related to food security, including exchange of experience in this area.
Armenia and Belarus to exchange food security experience
YEREVAN, January 11, /ARKA/. As part of his visit to Belarus, Artur Baghdasaryan, secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council had a meeting with Belarus agriculture and food minister Mikhail Rusykh and discussed a set of issues related to food security, including exchange of experience in this area.

Baghdasaryan’s press office said a preliminary agreement was reached that Mikhail Rusykh will visit Armenia in February or March to discuss ways to implement bilateral agreements.

Then accompanied by Belarus deputy minister of industry Ivan Demidovich Baghdasaryan visited the Minsk Tractor Works, where he and Belarus officials discussed establishment of centers in Armenia for servicing Belarusian tractors.

During the official visit Artur Baghdasaryan also met with defense minister Yuri Zhadobin and discussed a wide range of issues for deepening the Armenian-Belarusian relations. Baghdasaryan is also scheduled to meet with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and sign a cooperation program for 2012-2013 between the Security Councils of both countries. -0-
