YEREVAN, October 13. /ARKA/. Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan received Belgian Ambassador Eric De Muynck on Friday, the press service of the ministry reported.

It said the interlocutors discussed a number of issues related to strengthening economic relations between the two countries and increasing trade turnover with the focus on diamond processing, information technology, pharmaceuticals, animal husbandry, as well as food industry. The parties also discussed the possibility of exporting beer, chocolate and other goods.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the trade turnover between Armenia and Belgium in the first 8 months of the current year amounted to $ 156.6 million, which is 32% more than in January-August 2022. -0-

Copper and molybdenum concentrate production in Armenia drop over 10-month period
