Armenian Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received Friday Francis Malige, Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), who was said to have expressed his readiness to share the experience of implementing those programs that will be of interest to Armenia.

Janjughazyan assured that the cooperation with the EBRD will continue as smooth and transparent as it used to be and also expressed hope that it will embrace new directions.

The two men were said to have discussed a number of current issues relating to possible development of cooperation in view of the priorities set by the new Armenian government.

The EBRD is one of the leading institutional investors in Armenia. As of the beginning of September last year, the package of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and the EBRD included 158 projects worth about 1.1 billion euros. -0-
