Armenia and India are preparing an agreement on labor migration, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan said today.

YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. Armenia and India are preparing an agreement on labor migration, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan said today.
"Recently, we have seen foreigners arriving in Armenia to work in various sectors amid economic activity growth. Since 2022, we have been actively working both with our colleagues from the Indian government and in the Indian Embassy in Yerevan. We are now developing an agreement on organized labor migration," Mkrtchyan said in the parliament.
At the same time, he noted that similar negotiations on the development of agreements on labor migration are underway with other countries as well. -0-
