Armenia and Ukraine discuss prospects of trade and economic relations

YEREVAN, 18 June. /ARKA/. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received on Tuesday Ukrainian Charge d'Affaires in Armenia Valeriy Lobach.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues related to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and increase of trade turnover, the press service of the Economy Ministry reported.

"We are diversifying the economy, developing relations with different countries and, of course, maintaining relations with traditional partners," Papoyan was quoted as saying.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects of cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest, such as industry, agriculture, trade, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, healthcare and energy.-0-.

Armenia's economy may show growth of around 6% in 2025 - Central Bank board member

Surveys conducted by the Central Bank of Armenia among participants in the real sector indicate that economic growth is expected to stabilize at around 5% in the long term, with expectations for the current year slightly below 6%, said Levon Sahakyan, a member of the Central Bank Board.
