Armenia approves establishment of Eurasian Reinsurance Company

YEREVAN, August 18. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a proposal to sign an agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company.
The Eurasian Reinsurance Company will support mutual and foreign trade of several fromer Soviet republics, which make the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
According to the Armenian government, this new company is an international financial organization set up to promote mutual and foreign trade of EEU member countries, help carry out joint projects and mutual investments, supplement the export credit agencies of EEU member states.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Economy were instructed to organize the signing of the agreement.
The EEU was founded on January 1, 2015. Its members are Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Moldova, Uzbekistan and Cuba have observer status. --0--
