Consumer prices dropped by 1.8% in Armenia in June compared to the month before, mainly due to 3.1% decrease in food prices (including tobacco and spiritual drinks), ArmStat reported.

YEREVAN, June 30. /ARKA/. Consumer prices dropped by 1.8% in Armenia in June compared to the month before, mainly due to 3.1% decrease in food prices (including tobacco and spiritual drinks), ArmStat reported.
Prices for nonfoods decreased by 0.8% and service prices remained unchanged in the period, according to the report.
Consumer price index was 101.8% this June against the same period of the year before. Index for food prices (including for tobacco and alcoholic drinks) was 99.3%, for nonfoods – 101.3% and for services – 106.8%.
Planned inflation level is 4% (±1.5%) under the 2014 budget. –0--
