Armenia’s domestic trade rose to over 1,859.4bln drams in ten months

Armenia’s total domestic trade turnover was about 1,859.4 billion drams in January-October, 4.7% higher than the level of the same period in 2013, the country’s National Statistical Service (NSS) reported.

YEREVAN, December 12. /ARKA/. Armenia’s total domestic trade turnover was about 1,859.4 billion drams in January-October, 4.7% higher than the level of the same period in 2013, the country’s National Statistical Service (NSS) reported.
Retail trade account for 59.9% of this volume and amounted to about 1,114.9 billion drams. Retail trade turnover rose by 2.6% in the reporting period, compared to January-October 2013, according to the report.
Shop trade accounted for 72.7% of the retail trading and amounted to 810.12 billion drams in the period. Trade turnover in consumer goods markets was about 58.1bln drams or 5.2%.
At the same time, wholesale trade turnover accounted for 36% of the entire volume, and totaled about 676.9 billion drams in the period (8.4% increase).
Car sale turnover was 67.58 billion drams, an increase of 3.5% compared to January-October 2013. ($1 – 459.09 drams). –0--
