Armenia's domestic trade turnover shrank 6.3% over the first quarter of this year to AMD 442.8 billion, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. Armenia's domestic trade turnover shrank 6.3% over the first quarter of this year to AMD 442.8 billion, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
Retail trade amounted to AMD 271.1 billion after shrinking 6.4% in the 1st Q 2015, compared with the same period a year before, and made up about 61.2% of Armenia's domestic trade.
Wholesale trade contracted by 5.1% to AMD 157.5 billion and constituted 35.6% of the country's domestic trade.
According to the statistical report, trade in shops totaled AMD 192.1 billion and made up 70.8% of the domestic trade turnover in the first quarter of this year, and trade in markets more than AMD 19.5 billion and 7.2% respectively. ($1 – AMD 481.39). ---0-----
