Armenia's draft state budget for 2025 discussed in the government

YEREVAN, 17 September. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today chaired a meeting convened to discuss the draft 2025 budget and fiscal framework, the government press service reported.

Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the current economic and fiscal developments, macroeconomic framework of the budget, on the basis of which the draft state budget was elaborated.

Detailed information on the expenditures by sectors was presented and quotas for financing of the sectors were proposed.

The priorities and objectives of the government, improvement of tax-to-GDP ratio and fiscal policy projections were also touched upon.

Opinions were exchanged on the draft state budget for 2025. Pashinyan stressed the necessity of efficient implementation of the programmes and measures envisaged in the budget by all state agencies.

Prime Minister charged the relevant bodies to finalise the draft state budget taking into account the recommendations and remarks presented at the meeting. -0-
