Armenia’s industrial output in the first two months of 2014 declined by 4.1 percent year-on-year to 175.7 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).

YEREVAN, April 4. / ARKA /. Armenia’s industrial output in the first two months of 2014 declined by 4.1 percent year-on-year to 175.7 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
It says the processing industry accounted for about 56.8 % of the total output (99.8 billion drams), a 7 percent decreasecompared to the first two months of 2013.
Mining sector and quarries declined by 4.4%, amounting to more than 28.4 billion drams. Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supplies in January- February 2014 amounted to 44.6 billion drams, having increased by 4.1%.
Supply and purification of water, waste treatment and recycling amounted to more than 2.8 billion drams having increased by 5.2%. ($ 1 - 414.84 drams). -0 -
