Armenia's industrial output in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to about 1.5 trillion drams, an increase of 9.7% when compared to the same period last year, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) reported.
YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. Armenia's industrial output in the first nine months of 2019 amounted to about 1.5 trillion drams, an increase of 9.7% when compared to the same period last year, the National Statistical Committee (NSC) reported.
It said the mining sector's output increased by 19.5% to about 259.8 billion drams. More precisely, the mining of metal ores increased by 20.2% to 250.6 billion drams. During the reporting period, the manufacturing industry grew by 9.3% to about 978.1 billion drams.
At the same time, the supply of electricity, natural gas, steam and conditioned air in January-September increased by 0.8%, to about 187.4 billion drams, and water supply, treatment, waste treatment and recycling decreased by 1.9% to about 19.3 billion drams. ($1 - 476.57 drams). -0-
