YEREVAN, August 5. /ARKA/. Armenia’s international reserves that are managed by the central bank have started dropping, Haykakan Zhamanak (Armenian Time) newspaper says.

In June only, the country’s international reserves reduced by more than 50 million dollars, from $1,598 million on June 1 down to $1,546 million on July 1.

At the same time, according to the newspaper, the lowest since the beginning of the year level of international reserves was recorded in February - $ 1,261 million, and the commission income from Eurobonds issue was used to make up for it.

“So, our foreign debt has increased, and so have done the international reserves. Now the foreign debt continues growing, whereas the international reserves are dropping,” the newspaper says. –0—
