Armenia's largest corporate taxpayers accounted for 71.1% of all taxes collected in 2020, which made 773.3 billion drams, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan said on Monday during a meeting with more than 400 large taxpayers.

YEREVAN, March 1. /ARKA/. Armenia's largest corporate taxpayers accounted for 71.1% of all taxes collected in 2020, which made 773.3 billion drams, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan said on Monday during a meeting with more than 400 large taxpayers.
“For you this is a very honorable and at the same time responsible figure. We appreciate the participation of large taxpayers in business processes and therefore consider you key players in terms of tax collection,” Hovhannisyan said.
In 2020, the 1000 largest taxpayers paid over 987.637 billion drams in taxes, down from 1.061.2 trillion drams paid in 2019. ($1 - 525.76 drams). -0-
