Armenia to host 3rd Eurasian Economic Forum, marking 10 years of EEU
YEREVAN, September 12. /ARKA/. The third Eurasian Economic Forum will take place from September 30 to October 1 in Yerevan, as part of Armenia's chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), according to the country’s Ministry of Economy. The event will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the EEU Treaty.
The forum aims to further develop economic cooperation among leaders of large, medium, and small businesses from member states and third-party countries. The event will also bring together high-ranking officials, government leaders from EEU member countries, and representatives of academic and educational institutions. A key focus will be boosting export potential, fostering cooperative ties among economic entities, and achieving synergy by comparing investment and innovation capacities.
The forum's business program will include about 30 events, covering the most pressing and widespread issues related to EEU integration processes.
The EEU, an international economic integration organization, was founded in 2014. The union currently includes Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
