Armenia worst for business among 21 countries of E. Europe and Central Asia: Bloomberg rankings

YEREVAN, January 23. /ARKA/. Armenia comes the last (48 points) in Bloomberg 2014 best for business rankings among 21 Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries.
The top five countries for business, according to Bloomberg, are Poland (70.8 points), Czech Republic (68.7), Hungary (66.7), Cyprus (65.5) and Turkey (63).
Russia is the best for business among CIS countries (7th place) with 61.6 points, Ukraine is the 15th (59.5) followed by Kazakhstan (55.6). Georgia is the 18th (50.8 points) and Belarus is the 20th (48.1).
Armenia’s score on degree of economic integration is 39.2, higher than that of Albania (20.7), Belarus (21.1) and Macedonia (33.5). In terms of economic integration the best countries in the list are Romania (87.6), Ukraine (85.1) and Poland (83.7).
Armenia was the 37th in World Bank and IMF Doing Business-2014 ranking, between Belgium (36th) and France (38th), ahead of Cyprus, Poland, Spain, Luxemburg and Italy. –0—
