Armenian and Russian Deputy Prime Ministers Pinpoint Areas for Enhanced Economic Collaboration
YEREVAN, December 17. /ARKA/. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and his Russian counterpart Alexey Overchuk chaired today the 24th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Russia in Yerevan.
During the meeting, the co-chairs reviewed the progress on the decisions made during the 23rd session, which was held on December 20, 2024, in Moscow. They examined the full spectrum of trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties between Armenia and Russia, and outlined further actions to enhance both bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as reported by the Armenian government press service.
The discussions emphasized key cooperation sectors such as energy, industry, transport, agriculture, digitalization, healthcare, culture, science, education, and tourism.
At the conclusion of the discussions, Grigoryan and Overchuk formalized the outcomes of the meeting by signing the minutes.
Additionally, several bilateral agreements were executed at the agency level between Russia and Armenia, with the involvement of the commission co-chairs.-0-
