YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. From now on, citizens in Armenia will receive electronic receipts for all medical services, stated Tsovinar Vardanyan, a member of parliament from the ruling "Civil Contract" faction.
The Parliamentary Committee on Economic Affairs approved the draft law on amendments and additions to the Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia, which had been considered in its first reading, at its meeting on Wednesday.
"When using POS terminals, this law is in effect – a receipt is issued, but with payment terminals, this was not possible. Now all this data will be collected in the Armed system program, specifically about the services used by citizens. This involves generating electronic receipts," Vardanyan noted at the committee meeting.
According to her, it will also be possible to analyze all of this in the future and identify the problems citizens frequently encounter regarding health insurance, meaning a unified information system will be in place in the long term.
The deputy recalled that currently, when using medical services, people are required to make payments in a cashless format, and these payments can be made through POS terminals and those installed in medical centers.
