Armenian exporters and importers face serious problems due to Israel-Iran standoff

YEREVAN, June 16. /ARKA/. During the several days of standoff between Israel and Iran, Armenian economic entities have faced difficulties. This was stated by Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan during an extraordinary meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs.
"Cargo is delayed in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, on the roads. We have problems with exports. Our importers from Iran or through Iran are currently facing numerous problems. We hope that the standoff will end and we will be able to trade freely through the territory of friendly Iran, as before," Papoyan said.
On the night of June 13, Israel attacked military and nuclear facilities in Iran, and also carried out special operations to eliminate representatives of the country's top military leadership and nuclear physicists. Iranian and Israeli forces exchange strikes, with numerous deaths and injuries reported.
