Armenian parliament approves 2025 state budget

YEREVAN, 4 December. /ARKA/. The Armenian National Assembly approved the updated draft of the state budget for 2025 at a regular session on Wednesday. As many as 66 MPs voted in favour of the draft, 30 MPs voted against it.

According to the adopted draft, economic growth is expected to be 5.1 per cent in 2025 (5.6 per cent before the revision - ed.).

The state budget revenues will amount to about 2.84 trillion drams, which is 35.5 billion drams less than the initial figure, while the decrease in tax revenues is estimated at 39.6 billion drams.

According to the revised draft, state budget expenditures will decrease by AMD 40.8 billion and will make AMD 3.4 trillion (of which AMD 2.7 trillion are current expenditures and AMD 734 billion are capital expenditures). ($1 - AMD 399.59).
