Armenian taxi drivers issued 22.66 million receipts worth 27.4 billion drams

YEREVAN, December 5. /ARKA/. From September to November 2024, 22.66 million electronic cash receipts totaling 27.4 billion drams were generated by 4 taxi platforms and 157 private taxi drivers, according to the State Revenue Committee of Armenia.

It is noted that private passengers paid for trips worth 17.1 billion drams in cash, and 10.3 billion drams through non-cash transactions.

The State Revenue Committee stated that 107 applications for passenger transportation by taxis within the Republic of Armenia were submitted to the tax authority.

The amount of cash transactions conducted by taxi aggregator platforms, organizations (services), and individuals totaled 16.85 billion drams, while the non-cash transactions amounted to approximately 9.94 billion drams, of which a state duty of 486.5 million drams was paid.

The State Revenue Committee reminded that new regulations in the taxi services sector came into effect on September 1, 2024. According to these regulations, passenger transportation by taxi cars in the Republic of Armenia must be conducted through mandatory connection to the State Revenue Committee's electronic system.
