Armenian economy minister, Japanese Rotobo execs discuss possible cooperation
YEREVAN, November 13. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan met on Monday with Kyoichi Suzuki, executive director of Japan Association for Trade with Russia and Newly Independent States (ROTOBO) and Mizuki Chuman, member of the Association, during his visit to Japan, the press service of the ministry reported.
It said Armenian Ambassador to Japan Areg Hovhannisyan was also in attendance. A number of issues related to mechanical engineering were discussed, as well as the possibilities of cooperation in this area. Kerobyan also presented the favorable conditions created in Armenia for establishment of R&D offices.
Kerobyan and his deputy Narek Teryan are in Japan to participate in a meeting of representatives of the countries, which confirmed participation at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
The Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the Newly Independent States (ROTOBO) was founded on January 16, 1967. It is a unique organization engaged in promotion of trade and business cooperation between Japanese enterprises and former socialist countries of Eurasia (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Mongolia).
ROTOBO has nearly 200 member companies including trading firms, manufacturers, banks, securities companies, industrial associations, transportation and shipping companies, local governments and so on. -0-
